If you are prepared to give up a few hours of your time to speak at a school about a career at the Bar then please volunteer for the ‘Speak up for Others – A Career as a Barrister’ Scheme.
The aim of the scheme is to enhance awareness of the role and training path of barristers, particularly within schools currently without access to this information.
The Bar Council will aim to match you with a school in your chosen area (where you live and/or work) and will provide you with materials for the talk. All employed and self-employed barristers who are prepared to travel outside London are invited to register.
