No Luddites here

The legal profession is technologically-savvy and is embracing new gadgets such as smartphones and Kindles, according to new research among 100 lawyers in a variety of roles.

The survey, commissioned by LexisNexis and conducted by legal research company Jures, found nine out of ten respondents work digitally from non-email sources such as eBooks and smartphones every day. Ten per cent use an Apple iPad, which only became available in May, for legal work.
