The International Committee hosted a delegation of over fifty commercial and criminal lawyers from the Law Society of Zambia on 14th April which helped forge closer relations between the two professions.
The lawyers dined in the Inns of Court, visited various chambers to better understand the nature of their work and how they operate. Later in the afternoon they met the Chairman of the Bar and some of the Chairmen of the specialist bar associations to learn more about the work of the profession and issues currently affecting it. There was an opportunity for socialising and networking in the early evening at a drinks reception kindly hosted by COMBAR.
