The Bar Council will have a signifi cant presence at the Commonwealth Law Conference in Cape Town which is one of the best opportunities to make connections with an estimated 1,000 attending leading international practitioners from other common law jurisdictions.
The Chairman and Chairman- Elect of the Bar Council will be attending and speaking at the Conference. The Chairman of the Bar Standards Board, Baroness Ruth Deech, the Chairman of the Young Bar, Hannah Kinch, and immediate past-Chairman Michael Todd QC, will also feature on various panels. We will also host, jointly with the Law Society, a networking reception for the delegates, giving our members the opportunity to make professional contacts.
