Plans are underway for a small delegation comprised of representatives from both the Bar Council and Law Society to visit Beijing, Chongqing and Tianjin to hold seminars on environmental law in conjunction with regional bar Associations.
The visit will also be an opportunity to meet with the All China Lawyers Association, a key partner in the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme (LCTS), and the LCTS alumni, who frequently hold senior positions within Chinese law firms. The Bar’s delegation will be holding additional seminars in the three cities to raise awareness of the expertise of the English Bar and how it can be utilized by Chinese lawyers.
