Practising barristers can help shape future policy by taking part in a new survey about working life and the state of the profession.
Commissioned by the Bar Standards Board and the Bar Council, the 2013 ‘Barristers’ Working Lives’ survey is the second in a series of biennial studies of life as a barrister, the results of which are tracked, monitored and used to inform the policy direction of barristers’ representative and regulatory bodies.
The survey provides barristers with a chance to describe their professional situation as well as their future career plans. Participants are randomly selected to participate when the surveys are sent out in May.
If you are one of the barristers who have been randomly chosen to contribute as part of a representative sample, please take the time to complete the survey.
