THE International Committee is delighted to welcome Judge Johann Kriegler, former judge of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, to deliver the second annual Bar Council International Rule of Law Lecture, following the successful inaugural lecture last year, given by Judge Phillipe Kirsch, President of the International Criminal Court .
Judge Kriegler theme will be “The rule of law in postcolonial Africa: a British legacy?”. The lecture will be followed by a question and answer session, and there will be opportunity for further discussion at the subsequent drinks reception. The event will be held at Gray’s Inn Hall on Wednesday 3rd December and begin at 6.00pm. It is accredited with 1.5 CPD hours.
