The Family Division, on a mother's application under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction 1980 and Council Regulation (EC) 2201/2003, ordered the summary return to France of her three children. The mother's words in email exchanges had not amounted to 'a clear and unequivocal consent' and, even if they had been, manifestly that consent had been withdrawn before the children had been retained.
