Professor David Ormerod QC

Professor David Ormerod QC is Law Commissioner for England and Wales. He is seconded from University College London. He is a door tenant at 18 Red Lion Court and a bencher of Middle Temple. He co-authors Smith and Hogan’s Criminal Law and is the editor in chief of Blackstone’s Criminal Practice and the Criminal Law Review. In 2013, he was appointed QC (honoris causa).
