A team of 18 barristers and solicitors climbed the three highest peaks in Wales – Snowdonia, Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan – last month, raising funds for a children’s hospice.

The event was the first of its kind in South Wales and it is hoped may go on to become an annual event.
The organiser of the challenge was Daniel Poole, a serving Royal Navy officer and pupil at 30 Park Place in Cardiff.
