Outstanding author

A book about the law governing child abuse has won the inaugural £10,000 Inner Temple book prize for outstanding legal authorship.

Laura Hoyano, of Oxford University, and Caroline Keegan, of Queen’s University, Belfast, received the award at a ceremony on 2 December for Child Abuse, which compares the English approach with that of other common law jurisdictions. Lord Woolf of Barnes chaired the panel of judges, which considered 79 entries.
