Wright v Parole Board of England and Wales

Prison – Release on licence. There could be no valid criticism made of the defendant Parole Board's decision not to further adjourn a review hearing pending the preparation of a full psychological risk assessment it had previously requested. The Administrative Court, in dismissing the claimant's application for judicial review, held that, by the end of the hearing, the Parole Board had had available sufficient evidence upon which it had been able to make an appropriate determination about risk.
