Solicitor – Disciplinary proceedings. The sanction of striking the appellant off the roll of solicitors had been a sanction which it had been properly open to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal to impose, following its finding of dishonesty in relation to the contents of an affidavit sworn by him and filed on his client's behalf. The Administrative Court held that there had been no error of principle and none of the matters relied on by the appellant amounted to exceptional circumstances making the striking off clearly inappropriate.
