Landlord and tenant – Lease. The Chancery Division ruled on the validity of notices given under a lease concerning a new development in Colchester. The court ruled that the landlord's notice of satisfaction of conditions under the lease was invalid, that the tenant's first purported notice to terminate the lease was invalid, and that, by a certain date, the lease agreement had become unconditional, such that the tenant's second notice to terminate the lease had been ineffective.
