Mitchell v Government of the United States of America and another

Extradition – Extradition order. The Divisional Court dismissed the appellant's appeal against orders for his extradition to the United States to face trial for distributing child pornography. The risk of being subject to civil commitment after his sentence would not be contrary to his rights under arts 5 or 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights and his argument that he would not have specialty protection was rejected.
