Kamki v Secretary of State for the Home Department

Immigration – Deportation. The First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (the FTT) had not erred in dismissing the appellant Cameroonian national's appeal against orders for his deportation. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, in dismissing his appeal, rejected criticisms that the FTT had failed to properly apply the test in the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006, SI 2006/1003, reg 21(3), had misunderstood the meaning and effect of an OASys report and had failed to properly assess the level of risk posed by the appellant.
