R (on the application of Perry) v London Borough of Hackney

Town and country planning – Permission for development. The claimant sought judicial review of the defendant local authority's grant of planning permissions to the first interested party for the partial demolition of buildings on a site and its redevelopment with a food store on the ground floor with 53 residential units above, including nine affordable dwellings. The Administrative Court, in dismissing the application, held that none of the claimant's grounds of review had any substance.
