The Divisional Court held that an order made by any court under s 39 of the 1933 Act could not extend to reports of the proceedings after the subject of the order had reached the age of majority at 18. The Recorder had been correct so to rule and had not made an error of law. The court also commented that there was a problem there however it was for Parliament to fashion a solution: the problem required to be addressed as a matter of real urgency.
