Contract – Breach. The claimant's claim for remuneration for work carried out to negotiate, structure and close the acquisition of a branch of Kaupthing Bank failed. The Commercial Court held that, on the evidence, the agreement alleged by the claimant had not taken place, and that the claimant's alternative claim for quantum meruit did not succeed.
