Extradition – Delay. The arguments telling in favour of the appellant's extradition were very powerful and there was nothing of any substance to go into the scales the other side and, even allowing for the passage of time to be unexplained, nothing had happened that made extradition disproportionate. Accordingly, the Administrative Court dismissed the appellant's appeal against for his extradition to Poland to serve the 2 years, 9 months and 29 days' balance of a sentence of 3 years' imprisonment for a variety of theft offences committed in 1997.
