Wisniewska v Nursing Midwifery Council

Medical practitioner – Disciplinary committee. The Administrative Court held that the respondent Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) decision to strike off the appellant nurse from the register was unreliable, and that the appropriate sanction was 12 months' suspension from the register, in a case where the appellant had failed to disclose to a new employer the fact of a previous referral to the NMC for charges involving dishonesty.
