Town and country planning – Grant of planning permission – Wind farm – Reasons for decision. Court of Session: Refusing a petition which concerned a wind farm development comprising 22 wind turbines in Sutherland, the court rejected the petitioners' contention that in granting consent for the development the Scottish Ministers had failed to give proper, adequate and intelligible reasons for rejecting Scottish Natural Heritage's advice in respect of landscape and visual impact and in relation to the special protection to be afforded to areas of wild land and the circumstances in which development was acceptable.
