Ubbi and another (minors represented by their litigation friend and mother Corrado) v Ubbi (as Personal Representative and beneficiary of the Estate of Ubbi, Deceased)

Family provision – Reasonable provision for maintenance. The lump sum due to be paid for the claimant infants' reasonable financial provision from the estate of their deceased father, rounded down slightly, was £386,290.60. The Chancery Division reached that figure based on its assessment of their housing needs and childcare needs for a professional nanny, but no figure would be awarded for private school fees, as there had been no expectation that the claimants would have been educated privately and it was not a reasonable financial provision.
