Disclosure and inspection of documents – Application for declarations. The Commercial Court refused to grant three declarations sought by Vincent Tchenguiz and others, concerning 17 documents held by the relevant claimants as a result of earlier proceedings that had been brought against the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), and which had been inadvertently disclosed. Permission was granted to the relevant claimants, under CPR 31.22(1)(b), to use 94 documents in a claim against the SFO, which had been disclosed in previous proceedings against it, but in respect of which there had been no suggestion of inadvertent disclosure, privilege or public interest immunity.
