Pre-trial or post-judgment relief – Freezing order. The first defendant's applications to challenge an order registering a judgment of the Indian court against him (the registration order) failed. The Commercial Court held that the registration order had been validly made, and it was not appropriate to set it aside, to stay enforcement or to adjourn the application to set the registration order aside. Further, the claimants had established a good case for the continuation of a freezing order made against the first defendant, and there were no grounds on which it would be just to set it aside.
