Immigration – Asylum. The Slovak Republic and Hungary's appeal against Council Decision (EU) 2015/601 of the European Parliament and Council, establishing provisional measures in the area of international protection for the benefit of Italy and Greece, was dismissed. In particular, the Court of Justice of the European Union rejected contentions that art 78(3) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union was not a proper basis for the decision, that the procedure leading to the decision's adoption had been unlawful and essential procedural requirements had been breached, and their substantive pleas in law.
