Scott v Government of the United States of America

Extradition – Forum bar. The judge's overall evaluation of the forum bar in the s 83A of the Extradition Act 2003 had been wrong and, having regard to the specified matters, the appellant's extradition was not in the interests of justice. Accordingly, the Divisional Court discharged the appellant from extradition to the United States to face charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and 11 substantive counts of wire fraud.
