Reigate and Banstead Borough Council v Pawlowski

Local authority – Licence. The case stated in the appellant local authority's appeal against the justices' decision, allowing the respondent's appeal against its revocation of his private hire vehicle driver's licence, did not properly arise out of the justices' decision and was irrelevant. The Administrative Court, in dismissing the appeal, also found no error in the justices' approach to awarding the respondent his costs.
