Redmond v Health and Care Professions Council

Professional misconduct – Professional Conduct Committee. The Administrative Court, in dismissing the appellant's appeal, upheld a decision of the respondent Health and Care Professions Council to suspend the claimant's registration as a social worker for nine months. The court held that the respondent's panel had had proper basis for the factual conclusions it had reached and that, in the circumstances, the sanction imposed was not disproportionate.
