Family proceedings – Orders in family proceedings. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, allowed the appeal of M, the mother, in a case where a care order had been made for E, a child, which reversed the terms of a care order made four months previously. The judge had erred in failing to enquire into the reasons for the failure of the rehabilitation programme and failing to put in proper context four incidents involving M upon which he had relied when justifying his decision to change the care plan. The case was remitted to the High Court for rehearing.
