Passport – British Overseas citizen. The claimants had been born in the British Colony of Aden prior to 14 August 1968 and had not become nationals of the Republic of Southern Yemen. The Administrative Court, in allowing the claimants' application for judicial review of the defendant Secretary of State's decision to refuse their applications for British Overseas citizen passports, held that they had continued to be citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies, and had become British Overseas citizens.
