R (on the application of Din) v Secretary of State for the Home Department

Citizenship – British citizen. The claimant had been born in Oxford on 26 June 1968 and her claim for judicial review of the defendant Secretary of State's decisions refusing to confirm her status as a British citizen succeeded. The Administrative Court held that, on all the evidence in the case, the claimant was, as she claimed, the Yasmeen Din recorded as born in Oxford and the topics on which she had bene cross-examined had not, separately or cumulatively, cast her case on the central issue into material doubt.
