Pollock v Oldfield and another

Conveyance – Dividing wall. The claimant's appeal against the dismissal of her case in a property dispute succeeded. The Chancery Division held that the judge had erred in finding that there had not been a stock-proof fence running between the claimant's and defendants' properties. The stock-proof fence had marked the legal boundary at the date when a conveyance had divided the land. It followed that the boundary presently lay as the claimant contended, and not as the defendants contended.
