Pimenta v Republic of Brazil

Extradition – Extradition order. It had not been shown that there were substantial grounds for believing that there was a real risk that the appellant would be subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment, or deprived of a fair trial if he was extradited to Brazil to face charges of murder. Accordingly, the Divisional Court dismissed his appeal against the judge's decision to send his case to the Secretary of State to consider his extradition.
