Sale of land – Forgery. Appeals by purchasers' and a purchaser's solicitors were allowed against the judge's finding that there was no breach of trust by vendors' solicitors in cases involving identity fraud, and the dismissal of their claim against the vendors' solicitors based on an undertaking under para 7(i) of the Law Society Code for Completion by Post (2011). The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, further refused one vendor's solicitor relief under the Trustee Act 1925 s 61.
