Building contract – Construction. On the true interpretation of a construction contract, as amended, the claimant contractor was not entitled to any extension of time for an event, for which he had not been responsible, in so far as the delay caused by that event had been concurrent with the delay caused by another event, for which he had been responsible. So held the Technology and Construction Court concerning a claim for declarations on the true interpretation of the contract, following the claimant's application for an extension of time in respect of the construction of a house in the Midlands.
