Immigration – Deportation. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, dismissed the appellant Secretary of State's appeal against the decision of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber), affirming the decision of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) (the FTT), allowing the respondent Vietnamese national's appeal against a deportation order. The FTT's decision had not been reached by an illegitimate reasoning process, as it could be seen why it had believed that the circumstances of the respondent's offending had diminished the public interest in his deportation.
