Nduka v General Medical Council

Medical practitioner – Professional conduct committee. The Administrative Court dismissed the appellant's appeal against the decision of the Medical Practitioners Tribunal (the tribunal), finding that his fitness to practise was impaired by reason of misconduct and directing that he should be suspended from the register for four months. There had been no bias on the tribunal's part and it had been in a position to determine sanction, despite the appellant's absence, because the relevant information had been available to it.
