Construction contract – Adjudication – Award – Enforcement – Slip rule – Adjudicator's jurisdiction. Court of Session: In an action in which the pursuer sought to enforce an adjudicator's award in an amended decision, or alternatively sought the amount specified in his original decision, and which the defender resisted on several grounds, the court held that what the adjudicator purported to do in the amended decision was not within the scope of any slip rule that might apply (whether by implication or under statutory instrument) and that he had failed to exhaust his jurisdiction in that he failed to address substantive lines of defence and failed to give adequate reasons.
