NHS Hospital Trust v GM and others

Medical treatment – Withdrawal of treatment. A child's current treatment plan was ordered to be revised, with immediate effect, such that it was lawful, and in the child's best interest, for there to be no further neurosurgical intervention and, in the event of a cardiac arrest, no form of cardiac resuscitation. The Family Division, held that the medical evidence was manifestly clear that there was nothing more than could be done for the child by way of neurological intervention.
