NH v General Medical Council

Medical practitioner – Disciplinary committee. The Administrative Court, in dismissing the claimant trainee doctor's application to terminate an interim order of suspension made under s 41A of the Medical Act 1983, held that, in the circumstances, the order had not been wrong. The claimant was the subject of criminal allegations, which were sufficiently serious to have justified the interim suspension in order to maintain public confidence in the medical profession.
