NAX v King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Medical practitioner – Negligence. Although the claimant had established breaches of duty in relation to her care at the defendant NHS Trust's hospital, King's College Hospital, when she was aged nine, causation had not been made out. Accordingly, the Queen's Bench Division dismissed her claim for damages, in which she had alleged negligence concerning the disability which had allegedly flowed from the additional damage to her brain, following surgery at the hospital.
