Extradition – Extradition order. The appellant's appeal against an order for her extradition to Poland to serve the balance of a sentence imposed for a criminal offence was allowed where extradition would have an exceptionally severe impact on her two young children, for whom she was the sole carer. The Administrative Court held that extradition would amount to a disproportionate interference with the human rights of the appellant and her children and, in particular, their rights under art 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The extradition order was discharged.
