Insurance – Reinsurance. The Commercial Court dismissed the appellant reinsurers' appeal against a decision of the majority of an arbitration panel, in which it was held that the losses and liabilities in the case arose from one event, namely the attacks on the World Trade Centre. There was no basis for the reinsurers' appeal, and their case was doomed to fail.
