Personal Injury: Quantum Case. Road traffic accident. Orthopaedic injuries, psychiatric and psychological damage with PSLA of £2,450. The four-year-old claimant sustained a soft tissue whiplash injury to the neck and some short-lived psychological upset. He developed immediate moderate neck pain. Due to persistent neck symptoms, he was taken to see his GP. He was diagnosed with a soft tissue whiplash injury to the neck. Painkillers were advised and prognosis was seven months. No other treatment was provided.
