Lord Ltd v HSBC Bank plc

Costs – Security for costs. The defendant HSBC Bank's application for security for costs against the claimant company succeeded, in a dispute in which the claimant alleged that the bank had encashed the products early, in breach of an agreement between the parties. The Commercial Court held that, in all the circumstances, it was appropriate to order security for costs to be provided by the claimant in the sum of £27,500.
