Housing – Homeless person. The respondent local housing authority had erred in its decision refusing the appellant's application for assistance as a homeless person, where the basis of the application was that, although she was physically housed, it was not reasonable for her to continue to occupy her accommodation. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, held that the respondent had not complied with its duties to take steps to meet the different needs of a disabled person as compared to those who were not disabled.
