Laidlaw v Procurator Fiscal, Livingston

Criminal law – Road traffic offences – Disqualification from driving for life. Sheriff Appeal Court: Refusing appeals by an appellant who pled guilty to charges of driving whilst disqualified, using a motor vehicle without insurance and dangerous driving and was disqualified from driving for life, the court held that, standing the nature and extent of the appellant's record, it could not be said that disqualification for life was excessive.
