LMN v Government of Turkey

Extradition – Extradition order. There were substantial grounds for believing that, if the appellant were extradited to Turkey, he would face a real risk of a breach of his rights under art 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights, particularly given the appellant's mental health and the prison conditions in Turkey following the attempted coup against the Turkish government. Accordingly, the Divisional Court quashed the order for his extradition and ordered his discharge.
