Employment – Practice and procedure. The Employment Appeal Tribunal allowed the employee's appeal against the employment tribunal's decision to strike out his sex discrimination claim on the ground that the claim had lacked sufficient detail. Sufficient details of a potential claim of discrimination had been disclosed by the claim form and any defect could be remidited by a request for further inormation. It followed that the tribunal had erred in dismissing the claim.
